Adriana started learning to swim the summer of 2007 when she was 2 years old. She took to the water as if she were born to swim. We are very lucky to have Coach Sarah who gives her private lessons once a week. Adriana is completely water safe and can swim by herself. Coach Sarah is working with her on her strokes. Her best is the back stroke, and she is still working on her freestyle. The goal is to get her ready for the stroke team by the fall.

My little Daisy Scout.
Isabella joined the Daisy Scouts last year. This is her first year to sell Girl Scout cookies. Here she is with her friend Marley at their first table top. Isabella tends to be shy and reserved, but she really came alive to sell those cookies! I was so proud of her. She asked every person who walked by if they would like to buy cookies, and thanked them when they turned her down. She was not shy at all. Her goal is to sell 300 boxes of cookies. The girls are earning money to spend the night at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine. The Great Wolf Lodge is known for having the largest indoor water park. She is well on her way to meeting her goal and is very excited about the overnight stay.
Sisters
What can I say about sisters? Anyone who has a sibling knows all about sibling rivalry, the competition for Mom & Dad's attention, the fighting. These two aren't any different, but they can also be the best of friends and look out for eachother. The other day I caught them telling eachother they loved one another, and arguing about who loved who best. (I swear! They can turn anything into an argument!) I tell them all the time they are lucky to have eachother, and one day they just might believe me!
